Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

This is one of my favorite Chipotle locations. If you go when it's later half and half meat usually becomes almost double meat. Everyone here is super nice and it's always clean. I don't really feel like I need to review their food because it's amazing and it's what you put together to how it tastes. If you haven't eaten at a Chipotle then you're mad. Go get some right now.

Chipotle's experience is fairly consistent from restaurant to restaurant and for pseudo-Mexican food served up really fast, it's fairly edible. I always get a veggie bowl when I go and then try to kid myself into thinking it's health food. I suppose it could be worse! This Chipotle's service is always fast and friendly. My only complaint about Chipotle, and this applies to all of their restaurants as far as I know: They have terribly uncomfortable chairs. Just freakin' awful. Makes it feel like they don't really want people to stick around for long which is probably the entire point of these buttkillers.

If yuppie gringo Mexican fast food is what you're looking for, you've come to the right place. It's okay once in a while, but it doesn't beat going to a real Mexican place. At least McDonald's doesn't own it any more. Yes, that's my review.

Love the burrito chicken bowls. They are the best. Lines are usually long around lunchtime, but well worth the wait.

I love Chipotle! I prefer this location over the 95th street location in OP because its usually not too packed! I'm usually in and out and the food is consistently good :)

Arrived at noon to a long line but thought it would be about 5 minutes. Ended up being a painful 30 minute wait. I recommend NOT going here anytime around lunch time.

This place is just as good as the other locations. Just like the other locations, it gets nutso around 6 pm, when people start making their own parking spaces and running inside like there is one burrito left. Off hours are a better time to visit. I try to make my visit time efficient by ordering online for a pickup. Unfortunately, not many people must be ordering online, since I am hardly ever acknowledged when I walk straight up to the register. Last time I came in for a pick up, I had to get in the order line to get help. I watched my food get cold waiting for my turn. It was annoying and counter productive.

It's fast, it's fresh, it's consistently and craveably good. Parking can be a bit wretched at this location, because it shares a lot with a busy Italian restaurant, but at worst you'll be parking in the Hy-Vee lot next door & walking over. This is a go-to spot for me when I need fast food but not fried food.

Consistently awesome Tex-Mex food. No, it's not authentic Mexican food, as some reviewers so condescendingly tell us, but it's really good food, built with sustainable ingredients, often from family farms, made quickly and consistently. For those of you Chipotle newbies, order the off-the-menu quesadilla with a meat of your choice. It's great.

This is the Chipotle that started it all for me. Nearly 10 years ago now, I started going to this Chipotle and it still stands strong. Back then the manager knew me by name and often gave me some cool Chipotle items. Today it's still going strong. The burritos are delicious and the lines move quickly. If you love Chipotle, this location won't treat you wrong. If you haven't tried Chipotle, this is a great place to give it a first try.

I work just across the street and I really like coming here to get lunch. I like the fact that the burritos are huge and I can choose my ingredients.

Quality and good Qty for money! Can't miss on the Chipotle Amigo!

I stopped in here last night. It was hot outside and I didn't want to cook and make the house hotter, so I stopped in to grab a quick to go order. We eat here a lot. It is good, fast mexican food. When I walked in I was the 11th person in line. I thought for sure I would be there a while. To my surprise I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. The service at this location is great. They know I have a dairy issue, since I am in so often and they will dig down into the bottom of the guac or get a fresh one out of the fridge to make sure no cheese accidently fell in. They give you a ton of food enough for two. Our roommate and I usually split a bowl and hubby usually eats a whole burrito which amazes me everytime he does. The burritos are huge. Really enough to feed a small family. The food is always hot and yummy and I have never had a bad experience here.

4.5 stars Never ordered the same thing twice here. I mix and match and every time it's always good. Stuff it in a burrito shell and I'll eat it. The only consistency is guacamole and chips... I gotta have it! They have fast, excellent friendly service. The only issue is parking. I usually have to park around back and walk to the front, but it works out.

Im a fan, yes, I am ;) but not because its "Mexican" , as far as Im concerned it isnt, well not authentic anyways, I cant say Ive ever seen this type of "Mexican" in Mexico lol Im a fan because I like the food. I usually order the veggie bowl which is good for me :D with some chips and sauce. I also like ths location, the ones in Mission and on 95th street are always so packed, and I feel like Im being overwhelmed with germs (yes im a weirdo) Soo yeah! This place is alright! aaanndd I cant believe I just reviewed a Chipotle : /

I think most Chipotle's are the same, but there are slight differences in each one. The biggest difference to me usually is how friendly they are and how quick you can get your food. This location is very fast and always friendly. I like that they ask if you want a bag for to go food since it's not always necessary and can cut down on what I'd throw away. Yeah, that's right, I'm going green. :)

I reviewed my one other super fave national chain, Pei Wei. So I figured I might as well review the true king of chains: Chipotle. For now this will complete my mission of giving props to the few chains which deserve it. Chipotle has been on a mission for many years to provide quality food and keep it cheap. And by quality food I not only mean how it's prepared. I mean the CEO/founder of the company is committed to continually improving the quality of the ingredients and how they're sourced. Just rent the must-see film, "Food, Inc." and then after you watch it, go to the dvd extras and see the lengthy interview with Chipotle's founder and hear him speak of his commitment to sustainable food. It's not just talking points he's spouting to promote the company's image either. Every year Chipotle makes noticeable strides in the way of using more local, more organic, and more hormone free meats in the ingredients that make up their chow. Bravo! I only limited my rating to 4 stars because I want them to go a little bit FURTHER, which I do feel that they can do. But they're light years ahead of ALL other national chain fast food joints. For more info on exactly what I'm ranting about--see Food, Inc. and read The Omnivore's Dilemma. If you're a 'foodie' and//or lean towards the environmentally-conscious end of the human spectrum, this film and book will forever change how you view food and restaurants.

Yay! I was so glad Chipotle could be found just about anywhere around my neighborhood--- I don't think an extensive review of Chipotle is needed - For one, it's not very hard ordering a burrito and two, if you haven't been to Chipotle well we don't want you there...you'll just hold up the line even longer...;)

This is standard Chipotle fare - excellently executed. Note that all meat in KS is drug free. Did you know you can fax orders (913.652.0808) or create an account and order by email.
